Delete Your FinanceFlow Account or Data

FinanceFlow gives you control over your data. You can delete individual records at any time within the app, or request deletion of specific data or your entire account and all associated data using the steps below.

Option 1: Delete individual data within the app

You can delete specific entries yourself, without contacting us or deleting your account:

1. Open FinanceFlow and go to the relevant section (Expenses, Income, Goals, Investments, etc.)
2. Select the entry you want to remove
3. Tap Delete

This permanently removes that specific record from our servers.

Option 2: Delete your account and all data directly in the app

FinanceFlow lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, immediately, without contacting us:

1. Open FinanceFlow and go to the Profile tab
2. Tap Delete Account
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

Option 3: Request deletion by email

If you're unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request":

We will verify your identity and process email requests within 7 days.

What data is deleted

• Your account profile (name, email)
• All financial records you entered (expenses, income, budgets, goals, gold/share/EMI/loan/investment/revenue entries)
• Your AI chat history

What may be retained

• Data we are legally required to retain (e.g. for fraud prevention or legal compliance), which will be deleted once the retention obligation ends
• Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you
